The Almaden Valley Counseling Service Auxiliary AVCS as a non- profit agency, depends on several sources of funding to maintain affordable fees. In 1984 the Almaden Valley community created the Auxiliary as a primary fundraising arm. The Auxiliary helps the service through active participation in fundraising and special events. Currently our major fundraising activities are two biennial events which alternate years - the Snow Ball Fashion Show and the Spring Home Tour. We also have our two annual events, the Almaden Times Classic 10k Run and the Santa's Breakfast. These four events have become a tradition in the Almaden Valley. As a member of the Auxiliary, you will be required to participate in both biennial events as well as one other event each year.
